Caroline Bolt

Caroline adds value by providing creative solutions on projects, which are practical and well thought through. She considers the bigger picture, and the long term consequences of her ideas, but also keeps a close eye on the details.

Caroline’s combination of creative ideas, and the ability to work in a methodical, considered way, mean she can be trusted with key investment decisions, supporting throughout the project with a diligent approach.

Caroline works hard to foresee problems and is proactive. She communicates with clarity, ensuring her clients have clear visibility of design concepts and project progress, using 3D drawings, project schedules, and fully costed plans.

Caroline Bolt is the Founder and Creative Director of BOLTHOLE DESIGN.

Caroline lives in West Bridgford with her husband and three children. She trained at the National Design Academy, and has significant experience in architectural and interior design.

Caroline's previous career was as a Chartered Accountant, meaning she is well placed to manage budgets on projects.

The studio is based at Caroline’s home, and is available to visit by appointment to give clients the opportunity to see examples of spacial planning, bespoke joinery and lighting.

Caroline’s home showcases her bold approach to interior architecture, with most internal walls in the Victorian property having been removed when the property was renovated and extended in 2008.

Caroline is the creative lead on all projects, managing the design work to ensure a high quality, personal service.

The wider project team is formed from our experienced network of architects, structural engineers, audio visual specialists and other professionals.

Our strong relationships with suppliers enable us to specify kitchens, bathrooms, bespoke joinery, lighting and finishes, with assured quality.
