BRIEF
The clients wanted a modern yet comfortable home, with subtle pops of colour to add personality and warmth. Automation and lighting control were integrated for convenience and security, while every decor decision, from palette to materials, was carefully considered to create a space that feels both refined and family-friendly.
Bespoke joinery and durable finishes were central to the brief, adding character and individuality to the contemporary architecture. Upstairs, the layout was reconfigured to improve flow and functionality, re-balancing space within children’s rooms and providing privacy and better proportions within the master and guest suites.

VISUAL FLOW
Views through the home were key, with a base palette designed to flow seamlessly from space to space.
Consistent flooring and wall colours create a calm backdrop, while neutral-toned internal glazing and doors maintain visual continuity throughout.

DESIGN SOLUTION
Designed as both a family living space and a home cinema, this room balances comfort with clever functionality. Automated lighting and blinds transform the atmosphere at the touch of a button, creating a true movie setting. The dark walls and ceiling enhance the experience, and the client’s trust in taking this bolder approach resulted in a space they now love to use every day.

The master suite was designed as a calm, cohesive space in soft beige and green tones that continue through the dressing room and ensuite. A wall-to-wall headboard and matching bed were upholstered in a stain-resistant fabric for durability, while double-layer automated blinds, combining roller and roman styles, provide complete blackout for a restful night’s sleep.
