Our process is designed to support you on the whole journey. We are there from initial design ideas, through the development of detailed drawings and specifications, liaison with the builders and trades, right the way through to decor and furniture.

Appraisal and Design Brief
All projects start with an initial introductory call, to briefly discuss your project, and explain how we work. Then once engaged we meet at your home, to discuss your vision and ideas for your project. Communication is vital in the design process. We listen to you, and ensure we have a complete understanding of your needs.
We discuss budget and timescale, and consider any support needed from other professionals. The design brief is agreed, to ensure there is a common understanding of the journey ahead.

2. design
Concept Design
This stage is all about ideas. We will develop design concepts, and share these with you using drawings, plans and 3D visuals of the space. Ideas are shared with you as they develop, so that it is an evolving design process, where you are included each step of the way.
Initial designs for kitchens, bathrooms, and room layout are included, to enable you to really understand how the house would work. Many clients find this the most important step, as the 3D visuals allow them to imagine life in the re-designed space.

3. develop
Developed Design
This stage of the design process develops the concept designs into technical specifications and drawings. All rooms are considered, to develop kitchen designs, lighting plans, wall and floor finishes, bathroom layout, bespoke furniture design and decor.
Design development and technical design ideally starts well in advance of any building work, to ensure the smooth running of the project, so that when the trades are on site we are ready with signed off detailed drawings and all key decisions made, easing communication with the wider team working on the project.

4. deliver
Completion
Through the clear communication and planning at the earlier stages of the design process, this stage shouldn’t hold any surprises. We deliver on our agreed scope of work, whilst managing budget and timescales.
Some projects are completed in months, others can take two years. We are with you as long as you need us, to deliver and realise your project.
