PORTFOLIO

block colour

A palette of vivid primary colours and bespoke furniture created a unique living room and hallway in this newly renovated family home.

TRANSFORMATION

Colour and layout transformed this room. The sofa placement gave structure and enclosed the seating space, whilst the colour zoned and energised the room.

The strong palette was driven by the striking velvet fabric and matching wallpaper, with different coordinating tones being used throughout on wall finishes and upholstery.

FURNITURE DESIGN

Bespoke furniture was designed and manufactured to work with the decor scheme.

The units were designed with strong linear lines, and finished with a combination of black spray painted lacquer, oak veneer and powder coated black legs.

3D VISUALISATION

3D drawings of the room were used to show how the furniture, layout and decor would work together in the room.

THE DETAILS

The finishing touches were important in this room, as with such a strong base colour scheme they had to hold their place in the room.

Copper metal finishes were chosen for the statement lights, and a mixture of monochrome and primary coloured objects and accessories finished the room.

DECOR SCHEME

3D visuals and digital mood boards were used to convey the scheme for the hallway to the client.

A bold statement chair, lime green ottoman and bold print fabric blind create a statement as soon as you enter this home.

PRODUCTS

A key element of this project was sourcing furniture and accessories for the rooms.

The wing back chair gives focus to the hallway, and is also visible from outside as you approach the front door.

The large mirror was chosen to reflect the artwork and provide interesting reflections as you pass through the hallway.
